This scene when Supes finally arrives is great!
I love how nobody really gets what's going on and how Lois can't believe what she hears and sees. It also reminds me a lot of the airplane rescue in S:tM. I think it's well done.

I'm not too much of a fan of Kate's either, but apart from her being a bit too young for the character... - ever since Joss Whedon once talked about how everything is always blamed on a bad script when it's not necessarily true, I do blame it on Singer, as he was the one who thought he could direct her to this script and in this character.
